If your computer has software to prevent pop-up windows, ensure it is temporarily
disabled before starting the Filing Assistant.
A Pop-Up Blocker is software on your computer that
blocks advertisements or other unwanted windows from opening. The Filing Assistant uses a function similar to what happens when
these unwanted windows appear. As the Filing Assistant
is an online application, certain browser features need to be
controlled. The method used to do this is to open a new window.
Pop-Up Blockers will interfere with this method. When you choose a
form type, for example 'Fill out a Notice of Claim' to start the Filing Assistant, your computer should open a new window titled
'How To Use'. If this window does not appear, try holding down the
Control (CTRL) key in the bottom left side of your keyboard and
clicking on the form type link. Sometimes this will bypass the Pop-Up
Blocker software and will allow you to continue.
This website and the services offered have been tested with
Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher on the Windows platform. Future releases of
the Filing Assistant will provide Netscape browser and Macintosh
platform compatibility.
